Injector leakage faults are generally divided into two situations: internal leakage and external leakage. The internal leakage of the injector is mostly due to its early wear and tear in use, causing it to continuously leak fuel into the intake manifold under the action of system pressure. The external leakage of the injector mostly occurs at the connection between the injector and the fuel rail, and it is mostly the sealing surface of the seal. If the gasoline leaks outside the intake manifold, the oil droplets on the cylinder block will evaporate in the engine compartment after being heated. Once an electric spark occurs, it will cause a fire at any time, with serious consequences. When the internal leakage of the injector occurs, the fuel injected by the injector will be poorly atomized, causing the engine to run unevenly, the mixture combustion is incomplete, the exhaust pipe will emit black smoke, and it will lead to the fuel consumption of the vehicle. Consumption has increased significantly. When the external leakage of the fuel injector occurs, it will lead to the occurrence of difficulties such as difficulty in starting the engine, stalling at idling speed, decreased power, increased fuel consumption, operating surge and poor acceleration. In addition, when the sealing surface of the connection between the injector and the intake pipe is damaged, it will also lead to leakage of the intake system, causing extra air to enter the engine combustion chamber, causing the mixture to be lean and causing the engine to run abnormally.
