The oil pressure sensor is a sensor used to measure engine oil pressure. The oil pressure sensor is usually installed on the upper part of the engine and connected to the vehicle's computer system through wires. The oil pressure sensor is installed on the main oil duct of the diesel engine. The pressure signal amplified by voltage and current is also compared with the alarm voltage set in the alarm circuit. When it is lower than the alarm voltage, the alarm circuit outputs an alarm signal and lights up the alarm light through the alarm wire.
The wiring method of the electronic oil pressure sensor is completely consistent with the traditional mechanical sensor, and can replace the mechanical pressure sensor. It is directly connected to the automotive oil pressure indicator and low pressure alarm light, indicating the oil pressure of the diesel car engine and providing low pressure alarm signals. Compared with traditional piezoresistive oil pressure sensors, electronic automotive oil pressure sensors have advantages such as no mechanical moving parts (i.e. no contacts), high accuracy, high reliability, and long service life, and meet the requirements of the development of automotive electronics.
